Eliot ambassadors spread the word

Have you ever been at a loss for words when asked what you love most about Eliot?

Do you struggle to recall which part of your camp experience warms your heart—a small group conversation, watching children’s faces at story time, sharing time once a year with those who’ve become your lifelong friends?

Whether your answer is Yes or No (and we suspect it’s a resounding “NO”), the Communications and Marketing Committee has some great prompts and a fun opportunity to help you tell your Eliot story!

We are reaching out to Elioteers who are members of UU congregations and fellowships across the Pacific Northwest, asking them to become ambassadors for those congregations. We’ll provide you with handouts and a 5’ video to present, which you can follow with a few minutes’ sharing of your camp experiences. Answer people’s questions; follow up with those interested in registering; and voila—we’re widening our circle of inclusion and helping create the next generation of campers!

If you have responded to our committee’s request to become an ambassador, thank you! If you are interested but have not been contacted, please reach out to Linda (bellaroost@gmail.com) or any of our committee members. We will soon have the described resources in your hands and ready for you to share.
