Latest from the Leadership Development Committee

The Leadership Development Committee (LDC) has been hard at work getting Deans in place - 2023 already has some great folks planning away and we’re nearly there for 2024! The lineup for 2025 is in good shape so far, too!

If you’re thinking “How can I get more involved?”, be it in a specific camp role or through committee membership, the Finding Your Niche at Eliot is an online survey where you can see various positions available and how you can get involved. This is regularly monitored by the LDC so check it out! Here’s the link: https://eliotinstitute.wufoo.com/forms/p1842lbt1252t9r/

The LDC was approached in the Fall about facilitating a day-long (virtual) Leadership Retreat for the Spring, to allow  staff and board members to come together and go over plans for the upcoming camps. This occurred on April 1st with Samaya Oakley from LDC and Ward Ramsdell from the Governance Committee leading the day. This was very well received and a lot of good discussion came from it.

If you would like more information or to talk with someone on the LDC, please reach out to any one of these people: Samaya Oakley, Ken Kersten, Kay Crider, Debbie Kaye, McKenna Niemer, Erika Wootten, Xander Simmons or myself.
